Born As An Idea

Limited space, expensive space. The Elephant Cargo Fork (ECF) is the result of a product design bachelor’s degree in cargo transport by bicycle in urban areas, densely populated and hardly any open space. On this basis, a compact adapter solution for the own, previous bike was created. This avoids the double burden, financial and spatial. Through the versatile combination of several usage scenarios: the cargo bike in the commuter bike.

Individually

For bike enthusiasts in urban surroundings. Surely the ECF is not everyones piece: messengers, couriers, loving biker dudes and dudines. It’s more likely to be a possibility for a custom build, nothing standard. The kit also needs a frame, wheels, shifting, saddle, bars and all the tiny bits. Remaining keeps: Does this even fit? You probably have to have a certain passion for bikes – or you just have the right mechanic on hand. It quite a big modification on your bike, changing the fork like this. So if you’re missing the right skill, just get some help of a professional.

Versatile

Thanks the foldable platform, the bike is as wide as a standard bicycle and even so does fit a standard 600x400mm Eurobox. With many mounting points for tensioners you can fit a big variety of package-sizes. On top, folded up two smaller commuter bags can be attached to it. So all purposes are getting served.
